Have you ever looked at your life and wondered if God had finished writing your story?
Perhaps you’ve been praying for a breakthrough that hasn’t come. Maybe you’ve taken a few steps forward only to feel as though you’ve been pushed backward again. It’s easy to become discouraged when progress seems slow or when life doesn’t unfold the way we expected.
But take heart—God is still working.
Throughout Scripture, we see that God’s greatest miracles often unfolded over time rather than overnight.
Noah faithfully built the ark for many years before the rain ever came.
Moses spent forty years in the wilderness before God called him to lead Israel out of Egypt.
Joseph endured betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment before stepping into the purpose God had prepared for him.
Even after Jesus’ resurrection, the disciples didn’t immediately understand all that God was doing. Yet in time, He transformed ordinary men into bold witnesses who changed the world.
God has never been in a hurry, but He has never been late.
When you cannot see Him working, remember that much of His work happens beneath the surface. Just as a seed quietly develops underground before it breaks through the soil, God is often preparing your heart long before you see the harvest.
Don’t measure God’s faithfulness by what you can see today. Measure it by His unchanging promises.
If He has begun a good work in you, He has not abandoned it. Every prayer, every lesson, every delay, and every step of faith is part of His perfect plan.
The chapter you’re living today is not the final chapter.
God is still writing your story.
Closing Encouragement
Don’t give up because you can’t yet see the finished picture. The God who began His work in you is faithful to complete it. Trust Him one step at a time.
